Spiritual Formation is how we describe the important and difficult task of forming our souls after the image of Christ. It’s the hard work of discipleship making, and it’s an invitation for honesty, commitment, and sacrifice. If Jesus is the seed, and if the seed is designed to grow and bear fruit for the world, then our soul would be the soil.
God gives the growth, but we are the cultivators of our own soil. In addition to Sunday worship, we also offer opportunities to deepen our spiritual life through Followers (our adult Sunday School), urban outreach opportunities, and our Wednesday evening Bishop’s Chair pub ministry. We encourage everyone to pick up a hoe and join us in the challenging and glorious task of being refashioned into our true selves – the real and radical family of God.
