Logos

Jr. and Sr. High sunday school

Catherine Smith, Director of Family Ministries

At 10:30 on Sunday mornings, our junior and senior high school students gather in the fellowship hall for Logos, a curriculum and Sunday morning experience that engages and challenges our youth with the person of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible. Logos is Greek for “word,” but it also translates as “purpose” or “meaning.”  As our young people find their way in life, Logos is a place to ground their minds and spirits in the great story and purpose of God and to give them a safe and courageous place to discover who they are in Christ.  It all doesn’t hurt that we have refreshments and donuts!

After the lesson, our youth then join the rest of the adults and children in the main church for Holy Communion.
